Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Hit and Run in Annandale: Police

ANNANDALE, VA -- Fairfax County Police say a pedestrian is in critical condition Tuesday night after being struck by a car in Annandale in what appears to be a hit and run. Police say the driver "took off" after hitting the pedestrian.

The crash took place at or near Greenberry Lane and Evergreen Lane (see map below) in Annandale. The pedestrian is in critical condition at a local hospital, police said.

Police have not released a description of the car that hit the pedestrian.
