Power Outage Affects Fairfax County Services In Annandale

ANNANDALE, VA — A power outage in Annandale caused some Fairfax County government services to close early Friday.

The outage affects the Heritage East and West buildings in Annandale in the area of Little River Turnpike and Heritage Drive. As of 1:30 p.m. Fairfax County's humans services are stopped at the Fairfax County Department of Family Services, Health Department, Community Services Board, and Neighborhood and Community Services. Services will resume at 8 a.m. on Monday.

The Dominion Energy outage map shows the Annandale outage as of Friday afternoon. The estimated restoration time is by 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the cause of the outage is under investigation.
