Shooting, Stabbing At Annandale Apartment Complex Unrelated: Police

ANNANDALE, VA — A man who was shot several times outside an apartment complex in Annandale is expected to survive, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The victim was walking in the 4000 block of Wadsworth Court in Annandale just before 11 p.m. on April 4 when a man got out of a car and shot him.

The man was taken to the hospital for injuries that were serious but not considered life-threatening. The suspect left the area in the car after the shooting, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting. They do not believe the shooting is related to a stabbing that occurred at the same apartment complex on April 6.
