Suspect Arrested in Annandale Bank Robbery: Police
Fairfax County Police say a man was arrested Nov. 22 for robbing a bank in October in Annandale.

ANNANDALE, VA -- Fairfax County Police detectives announced Monday that they have arrested a suspect who they say robbed a bank in Annandale last month.
Last Tuesday, Nov. 22, detectives from the Major Crimes Division, Robbery Squad, arrested 23-year-old Travis Porter at his home in Annandale and charged him with robbery, police announced Monday.
Police sent out an alert Thursday, Oct. 27, about the robbery at about 1:25 p.m. that day, saying that the Wells Fargo Bank at 7620 Little River Turnpike was robbed.

Police described the bank robbery suspect as a black man in his 20s, heavyset, wearing a black and gray jacket and khaki pants. Police released surveillance photos of the suspect and the FBI offered a $5,000 reward for anyone who gave them information leading to the suspect's arrest and conviction.
