• School Board approves AAP Center at Poe (annandaletoday.com) — Families at Annandale Terrace Elementary should know that Fairfax County has approved a new full-time Advanced Academic Program (AAP) Center at Poe Middle School starting with sixth graders in 2026–27, with phased options to reduce disruption. Current AAP students from Annandale Terrace and nearby schools can remain at Canterbury Woods through sixth grade, while officials also plan community engagement on a new AAP Center at North Springfield Elementary.
