2 Homes Burglarized In Arlington Neighborhood: Police
Police were investigating one burglary in Arlington when they were alerted to another nearby.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police are investigating two burglaries in the same area in Arlington that may be connected.
Police were called to the 2100 block of N. Courthouse Road at around 3:44 p.m. on Oct. 8 to a report of a burglary that had just been discovered, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[A]n unknown suspect forced entry into a residence, rummaged through personal property and stole items of value," the report states. "The suspect is described as a male, thin build, wearing dark clothing and carrying a bag."

About 20 minutes later while investigating the above case, officers were informed that there was an additional burglary in the same block that had just been discovered, the report adds.
"[A]n unknown suspect forced entry into a residence, rummaged through personal property and damaged items," the report states."
