Victim In Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Identified By Arlington Police
Arlington County police identified the driver killed when his vehicle crashed into a residential building early Monday, authorities say.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police identified 23-year-old Jerry Perez Justiniano of Arlington as the driver killed when his vehicle crashed into a residential building near the intersection of South Glebe Road and I-395 early Monday, according to authorities.
County police and fire units responded shortly after midnight for the report of a crash with injuries in the 2400 block of 24th Road South.
"The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the vehicle was traveling southbound on S. Glebe Road when they left the roadway and struck the exterior of a residential building, resulting in a vehicle fire," according to the incident report. "The fire was quickly extinguished by the Arlington County Fire Department."

Justiniano was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
