2 Stabbings Within 24 Hours Investigated By Arlington Police
Arlington County police are investigating two separate stabbing incidents that took place on Tuesday in Ballston and Arlington Mill.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are looking for suspects in two separate stabbings that occurred on Tuesday, one in Ballston and the other in Arlington Mill, according to authorities.
In the first incident, officers responded around 12:18 a.m. to investigate the report of a stabbing in the to the unit block of South Glebe Road.
"Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was sitting outside when the male suspect approached him and yelled at him before assaulting him with a sharp object, resulting in a laceration," according to the incident report. "The suspect subsequently entered a dark-colored sedan and fled the scene."

The officers located the victim who was suffering from a serious laceration, according to the report. The administered first aid until the arrival of emergency medical personnel, who took the man to the hospital for treatment. Police described the suspect as a bald white man, who was about 65-70 years old.
In the second incident, police responded around 9:04 p.m. to the 900 block of South Dinwiddie Street for the report of a stabbingThe victim, an adult male, was takenmto a nearby hospital for treatment, according to police.

"Upon arrival, it was determined the adult male victim and male suspect w./.ere outside when the suspect assaulted the victim with an apparent knife, resulting in lacerations," according to the incident report. "The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Responding officers located the victim on scene suffering from lacerations and immediately rendered aid before medics transported him to an area hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening."
Officers searched the area but were unable to located the suspect. The victim's condition was later reported as stable, according to a 10:21 p.m. update on the police department's official X account.
