3 Sexual Assaults In Arlington Mill Linked, More Victims Possible

ARLINGTON, VA — Three recent sexual assaults in Arlington Mill may be linked, and Arlington County Police said they are seeking possible additional victims.

A woman contacted police around 5:28 p.m. on Nov. 23 to report a man had just come up behind her as she was walking in the area and touched her buttocks. The suspect then ran off, according to the incident report.

Police described the assailant as a heavyset Hispanic man, between age 17 and 30, and 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 in height.

Investigators say the attack was similar to two other incidents in Arlington Mill that occurred on Dec. 18 and Dec. 21.

  • Be aware of your surroundings at all times
  • Walk in well-lit, high-traffic areas
  • When possible, walk with another person or group of people
  • If you see something suspicious, call 9-1-1 in an emergency or 703-558-2222 in a non-emergency
