Arlington Conducting Death Investigation
One male victim is dead after a double stabbing in the 100 block of Glebe Road in Arlington County. The death is the first in 2016.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A male victim has died after a double stabbing Friday night in Arlington, according to the Arlington County Police Department. The death is the county's first homicide of the year.

First responders headed to the scene in the 100 block of Glebe Road (see map below) Friday night at about 8 p.m. for an assault with a weapon with multiple patients. The Arlington Fire Department reported there was one patient with serious injuries and another with minor injuries. The person with minor injuries refused to go to the hospital, authorities said.
The male victim with serious injuries died Friday night, police said, reporting the death on social media at about 10 p.m.
