Arlington Man Charged With Malicious Wounding After Stabbing: Police

An 24-year-old man was charged with malicious wounding in connection with a stabbing that took place early Monday morning in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man was charged with malicious wounding in connection with a stabbing that took place early Monday morning in the Arlington Mill neighborhood, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Brandon Vicente Hernandez, 24, was taken into custody and held without bond, police said.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday, police were dispatched to the 5000 block of 8th Road South for a report of a stabbing. Police found the victim, who had suffered serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Police provided aide until medics arrived and took the victim to a hospital for treatment.

The victim and the suspect were inside a residence when they got into an argument and Hernandez struck the victim with a knife, police said.
