Arlington Man Terrorizes Victim In Drunken Attack: Police
An Arlington man is behind bars after a drunken attack on someone he knew, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police have arrested an Arlington man on numerous charges after he terrorized a victim in a drunken attack that ended only after he fell asleep, police say.
Police were dispatched to the 900 block of N. Pollard Street at around 7:05 a.m. Sunday morning for a late report of an assault, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[A]t approximately 1:30 a.m., the victim and known suspect were inside a residence when they allegedly became involved in a physical altercation in which the intoxicated suspect struck the victim multiple times and tackled the victim," the report states. "The suspect then produced a knife and threatened the victim, and strangled him."

The suspect then drove the victim to another location, where he again threatened the victim and cut him with the knife, police say.
"The victim was able to escape after suspect fell asleep in the vehicle," the report states. "Investigating officers located the suspect in his vehicle and he was taken into custody without incident."

Police arrested 20-year-old Robert Reyna of Fort Myer on the following charges: Malicious Wounding, Strangulation, Abduction, Assault and Battery and Underage Possession of Alcohol. He is being held without bond.
