Arlington Residents Scream After Seeing Man Peering In: Police

Police are searching for a suspect after a peeping incident in Arlington Thursday.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Residents of a home in an Arlington neighborhood screamed after noticing a strange man peering into the home from the backyard, and police are looking for him.

Police were called to the 600 block of N. Nelson Street at around 9:37 p.m. on Thursday to a report of a peeping, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims were inside their residence when they observed an unknown male suspect inside their backyard looking into the residence through a door," the report states. "The victims screamed and the suspect fled prior to police arrival."

Police described the suspect as follows: "white male, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, 180-210 lbs., wearing a black hoodie and black pants."
