Arlington Shutting Down After School Activites Thursday
The threat of snow has prompted local officials to shut down school activities early Thursday.
ARLINGTON, VA-- Public schools in the county will be shutting down after school and evening activities in anticipation of some possible snow Thursday.
The county put out an alert Thursday morning that all after school and evening activities, "including extracurricular activities, interscholastic games, team practices, field trips, adult education classes, and programs in schools and on school grounds," have been cancelled.
Extended Day will remain open until 6 p.m.
