Arlington Woman Finds Unknown Man Inside Her Home: Police
A 43-year-old man was arrested after he was discovered inside a home off of Arlington Boulevard early Wednesday, according to police.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 43-year-old man faces multiple charges after a woman discovered him inside her Arlington home early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
Officers responded around 12:12 a.m. to the 4300 block of Arlington Blvd. for a suspicious person report.
"Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was inside her residence when she heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the unknown male suspect allegedly made entry into her home," according to the incident report. "The victim screamed, alerting another member of the household, who confronted the suspect. The suspect subsequently fled the scene on foot."

After broadcasting a lookout, the officers located a man matching the description of the suspect at North Glebe Road and North Pershing Drive, according to ACPD. As they were taking the man into custody, he gave one of the officers false personal information.
The suspect, identified as Victor Vasquez of Arlington, was arrested and charged with unlawful entry, public intoxication and giving false identity to law enforcement, according to police.

On Wednesday morning, Vasquez was arraigned in Arlington General District Court and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2026, according to court records. Following his arraignment, he was released on a summons.
Both the unlawful entry and giving false identification to law enforcement charges are Class 1 misdemeanors, which are each punishable by a sentence of up to 12 months in jail and a fine of not more than $2,500, either or both, under the Code of Virginia.
The public intoxication charge is a Class 4 misdemeanor. If found guilty on that charge, Vasquez could be fined up to $250 in Virginia.
