Armed Men Try To Rob Victims In Arlington, Police Say

Police are searching for three armed men who allegedly tried to rob victims walking in Pentagon City.

ARLINGTON, VA — Three armed suspects tried to rob men in the Pentagon City area of Arlington Thursday, police said.

The two male victims were walking in the 1000 block of S. Hayes St. at about 9:42 p.m. when they were approached by three unknown suspects.

One suspect brandished a gun and attempted to steal money from the victims, police said. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the area on foot.

Police describe the suspects as three black males, between 16-21 years of age. They were about 5'8" to 6" tall with average builds, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
