Armed Robber Strikes Business Near Arlington Government Center: Police
An armed robber targeted a business near the Arlington County government center Thursday night, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
ARLINGTON, VA — An armed robber targeted a business near the Arlington County government center Thursday night, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday, police were dispatched to the 2100 block of 15th Street N., a block away from Arlington County police headquarters, for the report of an armed robbery.
ARLnow reports that the armed suspect robbed the CVS Pharmacy at 2121 15th Street N., next to the Courthouse Metro entrance.

The suspect entered the business, approached the counter, brandished a firearm and demanded money before leaving the business with an undisclosed amount of cash, Arlington County police said. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
Police officers canvassed the area but could not find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Black male, about 5-feet, 3-inches tall and wearing a black hat, black jacket and blue pants, police said.
