ARLINGTON, VA -- An man armed with a gun robbed a business in the heart of Rosslyn earlier this week, police say.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard at around 8:20 p.m. on June 12 to a report of an armed robbery, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"[A]n unknown male suspect gained entry to a business, approached an employee and brandished a firearm," the report states. "The suspect forced the employee to the ground and demanded cash before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash prior to police arrival."

Police described the suspect as a black man with dreadlocks who was wearing all black clothing and a black mask.
