Armed Robbery Near Pentagon City Mall: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Someone was robbed at gunpoint near the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City on Wednesday afternoon, police say.

Police were called to the 800 block of Army Navy Drive at around 2:36 p.m. on Nov. 6 to a report of an armed robbery, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"The investigation determined that the suspect approached the victim at gunpoint and stole items of value," the report states. "The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival."

Police described the suspect as a black male wearing a black jacket and ski mask.
