Armed Teen Jumps 3 Victims In Pentagon City: Police
Police say the three victims left a business when a teen approached them and showed a handgun.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police arrested a minor accused of flashing a handgun at three people in Pentagon City and stealing money from one of them, before fleeing to the mall.
Police were called to the report of a robbery at around 4:06 p.m. on Jan. 1 at 13th Street S and S. Fern Street, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[T]he male suspect followed the three victims as they exited a business and began walking in the area," the report states. "When waiting to cross the street at an intersection, the suspect allegedly lifted his shirt to display a firearm and demanded money from the victims."

Two victims didn't provide the suspect with any money, but a third did, and the suspect fled on foot before police arrived, the report states.
An officer spotted the suspect in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, and watched him leave the mall and go to the Metro station, where other officers took him into custody, the report adds.

The teen, who was not identified, was charged with robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, and use of a firearm during commission of a felony.
