Assault Charge Filed In Indecent Exposure Incident In Barcroft
Arlington County Police arrested a man who they say pulled out a knife when they confronted him about an earlier exposure incident.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 30-year-old Arlington man is facing assault and indecent exposure charges after he was reported exposing himself inside a business in the Barcroft area on Saturday afternoon, according to Arlington County Police.
Officers responded around 3:19 p.m. to the 900 block of South George Mason Drive for the report of a man exposing himself. When the officers confronted the man, he pulled out a knife and was taken into custody, according to ACPD. No one was reported injured.
Police arrested Noah Ghebremichael and charged with indecent exposure and assault and battery.

Ghebremichael was scheduled to be arraigned in Arlington General District Court on Monday, but the case was continued to Tuesday morning, according to court records. He remained in custody.

Both charges are considered Class 1 misdemeanors, which each carry potential penalties of up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500, according to the Code of Virginia.
