Construction at Clarendon Circle has resulted in a significant change to traffic there.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A major restriction has been enacted for traffic passing through Clarendon Circle as construction goes on through the summer.
Left turns from eastbound Washington Boulevard to Clarendon Boulevard are now prohibited, and the restriction will be in place until the end of the summer, Arlington County Police tweeted.

"Clarendon Circle is being redesigned to improve access and safety for those who walk, bike and drive. Current travel across the intersection can be difficult due to its extreme width and the skewed alignment of its roadways," the county says on its website. "North Irving Street also enters the circle area in two offset locations, further complicating the traffic pattern."
