Break-In At Construction Site Lands 3 DC Men In Jail: Arlington Police

Arlington Police apprehended three men they say broke into and caused damage at a Fort Myer-area construction site early Friday.

ARLINGTON, VA — Three District men are in police custody in connection to an early Friday morning break-in at a construction site near Fort Myer, according to Arlington County Police.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. for the report of a burglary in progress in the 1200 block of N. Queen Street. A preliminary investigation revealed that three men had damaged property by forcing their way into a construction site, according to police. The officers found the following three suspects and took them into custody.

  • Delaurance Williams, 35, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony, wearing a mask in public, possession of schedule I/II controlled substance, and destruction of property.
  • Donte Younger, 39, of Washington DC was arrested and charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony, wearing a mask in public, and destruction of property.
  • Kendell Cunningham, 33, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony.
