The Commentary, Solace Brewing Partner On Craft Brew Dinner Series

ARLINGTON, VA — The Commentary Social House in Arlington is hosting the second event of its Craft Brew Dinner Series in February in partnership with Solace Brewing Company.

At the Thursday, Feb. 16 event, guests will once again get to enjoy their favorite beer and seasonal dishes while receiving expert tips on how to pair delicious craft beers with their next meal.

A portion of Craft Brew Dinners proceeds will be donated to Save the Children. Executive Chef Francecil Ponte is collaborating with Solace Brewing to pair their seasonal and specialty brews with a five-course menu.

The Feb. 16 Craft Brew Dinner will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visit the online invitation to purchase tickets to the dinner. The cost will be $75 for each dinner.

Here's the menu for the Feb. 16 dinner:

FIRST COURSE

• CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE SPREAD
• BEER PAIRING: Crazy pils

SECOND COURSE

• BURRATA SALAD: Baby mix greens, pickle shallots, raspberry-beet vinaigrette, cherry heirloom tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, herb crostini
• BEER PAIRING: Lil bit cloudy ipa

THIRD COURSE

• CHIMICHURRI STEAK FLATBREAD: Tenderloin, arugula, cherry tomato, mozzarella-feta cheese, pickled onions
• BEER PAIRING: Suns out hops out

FOURTH COURSE

• CRISPY SKIN RED SNAPPER AND NEW POTATOES: Chorizo lemon sauce, asparagus spears
• BEER PAIRING: Lucy juicy dipa

FIFTH COURSE

• BLUEBERRY-LEMON OAT COBBLER: Vanilla bean ice cream candied lemon peels
• BEER PAIRING: 2 legit 2 wit

The first of the Commentary Social House's Craft Beer Dinner Series was held on Jan. 19 in partnership with Port City Brewing of Alexandria.
