Courthouse Assault, Peeping Tom, Break-Ins | ACPD Crime Report
Here are the crimes reported by Arlington police on the weekend of Oct. 12-13.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man walking in Courthouse was assaulted by someone asking for money, police say. Also in Courthouse, a resident chased off a peeping tom. Burglaries were reported at multiple locations. These are a few of the crimes reported in Arlington over the weekend by Arlington County Police.
Their full report is below:
ROBBERY (late), 2019-10130248, 2100 block of
Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were
approached by a victim reporting a late assault. Upon meeting with the
victim, it was determined that between 8:20 and 8:24 p.m., the victim
was walking in the area when he was approached by the unknown male
suspect asking for money. The victim declined and kept walking, but
later stopped briefly. The suspect re-approached the victim in an
aggressive manner and assaulted him. The suspect and victim became
engaged in a brief struggle, during which both fell to the ground. The
struggle ended and the suspect took the victim’s phone and fled on foot.
The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect is described as a
black male, approximately 6’0”, wearing a dark colored jacket with a
hood, white shirt, dark pants and carrying a backpack. The investigation
is ongoing.

PEEPING, 2019-10130217, 1700 block of N. Troy
Street. At approximately 8:06 p.m. on October 13, police were dispatched
to the report of a peeping tom. Upon arrival, it was determined that at
approximately 7:00 p.m., the victim observed the male suspect looking
into the window of her residence. The victim opened the window to
confront the suspect, however he fled on foot prior to police arrival.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 50’s, wearing a black
jacket and dark pants. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2019-10120224, 2800 block of
Key Boulevard. At approximately 10:23 p.m. on October 12, police were
dispatched to the report of an unlawful entry. Upon arrival, it was
determined that between October 10 and October 12, an unknown suspect(s)
gained entry to the victim’s porch on two occasions and left behind
personal belongings. There is no suspect(s) description. The
investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2019-10110107, 5500 block of
Columbia Pike. At approximately 11:07 a.m. on October 11, police were
dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was
determined that between 6:15 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on October 9, the known
suspect gained entry to an unlocked apartment and stole the victim’s
wallet. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2019-10110180, 1900 block of N.
Johnson Street. At approximately 3:20 p.m. on October 11, police were
dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was
determined that at approximately 1:00 p.m., the victim was inside his
residence when he heard noise. The victim then observed two suspects,
who had forced entry to the garage, causing damage, and approached them.
The suspects then fled on foot, prior to police arrival. Nothing was
reported missing from the residence. Suspect One is described as a
Hispanic female, skinny build, 18-20 years old. Suspect Two is described
as Hispanic male, skinny build, 18-20 years old. The investigation is
ongoing.
