On the Road

A crash and downed pole were reported as of 7:16 a.m. on Canal Rd NW near Foxhall Rd in D.C. Inbound traffic is being diverted to Arizona Ave NW. All traffic was stopped as of 7:16 a.m.

As of 7:31 a.m., debris was reported on VA-286/Fairfax County Pkwy southbound near Telegraph Rd. Drivers should proceed with caution.

As of 6:32 a.m., a crash with a fuel spill was reported on VA-236/Little River Turnpike on the westbound at Prosperity Avenue. Drivers should follow police direction.

As of 7:20 a.m., utility work was being conduct on VA-28 (Center St) in the City of Manassas. All northbound and southbound travel lanes are closed. Potential delays.

As of 7:17 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound on I-395 at the 14th Street Bridge. The two right lanes are getting by.

As of 6:51 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound George Washington Pkwy before the Key Bridge in Arlington. The right lane is getting by.

A disabled tractor trailer was reported at 7:32 a.m. on westbound I-66 at mile marker 61.9, 1.3 miles east of VA-123, Exit 60, in Fairfax County. No lanes are closed.

In Chantilly, a crash was reported on Braddock Road in both ways between Pleasant Valley Rd and Old Lee Rd. as of 6:31 a.m. Drivers should proceed with caution.

As of 6:47 a.m., a crash was reported on northbound I-95 northbound before VA-286/Fairfax County Pkwy. All lanes are open, but delays remain.

As of 7:24 a.m., a crash was reported on the Baltimore-Washington Pkwy southbound ramp to inbound US-50/New York Ave. Drivers should follow police direction.

As of 7:22 a.m., a crash was reported on I-495/Beltway Outer Loop between US-29/Colesville Rd (#30) and MD-97/Georgia Ave (#31) in Maryland. Drivers should stay alert on the right side. All lanes are open but delays remain.

As of 7:12 a.m., a crash was reported in the eastbound lanes of VA-7 before Yellow Schoolhouse Rd. between Bluemont and Round Hill. The left lane is getting by.

Downed wires were reported on Old Dominion Dr. in both directions near Bellview Rd. as of 6:16 a.m. Drivers should proceed with caution.

As of 6:05 a.m., flashing traffic Lights were reported at VA-234/Dumfries Rd. in both directions at Country Club Dr. Drivers should proceed with caution.

On the Rails

On the Metro, Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Oct. 22 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.

Weather

The start of the week will remain chilly and rainy. Monday's high temperature is forecast near 53. North winds will be 11 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Monday night will see the coolest temperatures of fall so far, with a low around 46.
