On the Road

As of 7:21 a.m., a two-vehicle crash on US-301 was affecting traffic both ways on the Harry Nice/Mac Middleton Bridge over the Potomac River connecting Charles County, Maryland, to King George County, Virginia. Traffic was alternating.

As of 7:15 a.m., a demonstration was reported on northbound 14th Street NW at K Street, Northwest in D.C.

As of 7:38 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on northbound I-95R at mile marker 162.0, 0.4 miles north of US-1 Exit 161 in Fairfax Co. No lanes are closed. Potential delays.

As of 7:22 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on the eastbound side of I-66 at mile marker 37.8, 2.4 miles west of US-15 Exit 40 in Prince William County. No lanes were closed.

A crash was reported on southbound I-95 at mile marker 169.0, 0.8mi north of Backlick Road, Exit 167 in Fairfax County at 7:16 a.m. No lanes were closed.

In Maryland, a disabled vehicle was reported on the I-495/Beltway Inner Loop ramp to northbound I-95 at 7:10 a.m. Driver should proceed with caution.

On the Rails

Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Oct. 22 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.

Weather

Wednesday's weather will be sunny and hot, with a high near 86. Expect partly cloudy conditions Wednesday night, with a low around 69.
