Drive-Thru Starbucks On Langston Blvd To Reopen On Oct. 10
Arlington County's only drive-thru coffee shop is scheduled to reopen on Monday, Oct. 10 after being closed two weeks for renovations.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County’s only drive-thru coffee shop is scheduled to reopen on Monday, Oct. 10 after being closed two weeks for renovations.
The Starbucks, at 5515 Langston Blvd. in Arlington, temporarily closed its doors Sunday, Sept. 25 for the renovations.
The store moved a short distance to its current site in a former bank building on Langston Blvd. from its previous home in the Lee Harrison Shopping Center in early 2020, only a couple weeks before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The drive-thru coffee shop became a popular place for residents to buy their coffee during the pandemic without getting out of their cars. The Starbucks has become so popular that on some mornings, the drive-thru line extends onto the westbound lanes of Langston Blvd.

“The store will reopen with an updated drive-thru to improve customer experience at the store,” a Starbucks spokesperson told ARLnow. “As a standard course of business, we continually evaluate our store portfolio, using various criteria to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers."
