Fire Destroys Amazon Delivery Van, No Damages To Deliveries
Investigators determined that an engine malfunction was the cause of a fire that destroyed an Amazon delivery van Sunday in Crystal City.

ARLINGTON, VA — A malfunctioning engine was the cause of a fire that destroyed an Amazon delivery van Sunday afternoon in Crystal City, according to Arlington County Fire Marshals.
Arlington Fire & EMS units responded to the 2200 block of South Clark Street for the report of a vehicle fire, according to a 1:44 p.m. post on the department's official X account.
Upon arrival, firefights found the van in flames, with fire extending to some bushes nearby. E105 quickly extinguishe the blaze. No injuries to the driver or fire personnel was reported.

"This was a gas-powered vehicle that caught fire due to a malfunctioning engine," according to an update to the social media post. "There was no explosion, and no packages were involved."
