Police Release Identity Of Man Killed In Arlington Crash

BREAKING NEWS: Arlington Police identified the man who died in Monday's pedestrian crash.

(Updated at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday): ARLINGTON, VA — Police identified the victim of Monday's fatal pedestrian crash that occurred in Arlington.

The man was identified Wednesday as Jay Thoman, 44, of Arlington.

Thoman was struck at the intersection of Columbia Pike at S. Queen Street at about 7:08 a.m. He was transported to George Washington University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said.

Members of the Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and are conducting an ongoing and active investigation.
