Free Graphic Novel Workshops Coming To Arlington's Central Library

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington Public Library is holding a series of free workshops on the art of graphic novel storytelling, starting with the first workshop at Central Library on Saturday.

The first session will be hosted by Evan Keeling, who will discuss his comic work and provide a hands-on workshop for participants who want to write and storyboard their own sequential stories.

The four-part graphic novel workshop series will include sessions on Saturday, Nov. 5, Saturday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 19, all held at Central Library.

The event is for adults and students in grades 6 and above. People who are registered but cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration using the link found in their registration email.

Keeling is a comic maker from Washington, D.C., and a co-founder of the comic artist and writer collective, “DC Conspiracy.” His personal comic work, along with the work of the artists with whom he collaborates, can be found at the ETKeeling Tumblr page.
