Fugitive Arrested After Odd Incident At Arlington Store: Police
Police arrested a Maryland man wanted in Alexandria after an odd incident at an Arlington store, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A Maryland man has been arrested after police say he was wanted for stealing in Alexandria and was caught behaving oddly in an Arlington store.
Police were called to the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard at around 10:49 a.m. on May 30 to a report of a larceny in progress, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[T]he call for service was canceled after loss prevention personnel observed the suspect replacing items he had allegedly previously concealed," the report states. "Officers made contact with the suspect who provided incorrect information regarding his identity."

Upon investigating further, police identified him as 22-year-old Kyree Hill of Oxon Hill, Md., and determined that he was wanted out of Alexandria, the report continues.
"During a search incident to arrest, the suspect was determined to be in possession of stolen property from a prior larceny from auto, as well as a vehicle key that was later determined to belong to a vehicle previously reported stolen out of Alexandria," it states. "The stolen vehicle was subsequently located parked in a nearby garage."

Police charged Hill with Buying/Receiving Stolen Goods, Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance and Giving False Identity to Law Enforcement, Fugitive from Justice – Felony and Fugitive from Justice – Misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.
