Indecent Exposure Incident In Ballston Results In 4 Charges: ACPD

Arlington County Police arrested a 76-year-old man for indecent exposure in Ballston early Thursday morning, authorities say.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 76-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including two for indecent exposure, in connection to an incident that ouccred early Thursday morning in Ballston, according to Arlington County Police.

Around 1:20 a.m., an officer noticed a man exposing himself in the area of Fairfax Drive and North Stafford Street, according to the incident report. The officer confronted the man and detained.

During the investigation, police determined that the suspect, identified as Robert Blair of an undetermined address, had previously exposed himself on July 20, according to ACPD. This led to additional warrants for Blair's arrest.

Police issued summonses for two charges each of indecent exposure and public masturabation, according to the incident report. He was was then released.

Blair has a hearing scheduled for 2 p.m. on Aug. 7 in Arlington General District Court, according to court records.

Each of the four charges is a Class 1 misdemeanor, which each carry a potential sentence of up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500, under the Code of Virginia.

Blair has an additional court hearing on another simulated masturbation charge scheduled for Sept. 29 in Arlington General District Court, according to court records. That hearing is connected to an separate incident and arrest on June 8.
