Jeni's In Shirlington To Offer Free Ice Cream Scoops At Grand Opening

ARLINGTON, VA — Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is holding a grand opening celebration for its new shop in Arlington on March 8.

The new shop, at 4150 Campbell Avenue in Shirlington, will be Jeni’s seventh location in the D.C. area.

The grand opening will take place on Wednesday, March 8 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Customers will get free scoops of ice cream during the celebration. Also, the first 50 people in line will get extra goodies from Jeni’s.

Jeni’s ice cream flavors such as Brown Butter Almond Brittle and Gooey Butter Cake are already sold by the pint in Arlington and across the D.C. area at Harris Teeter and Safeway stores. In Virginia, Jeni's other shops are in Old Town Alexandria and McLean.

Prior to its grand opening in Shirlington, Jeni's other locations, including in Old Town and McLean, will be serving limited-edition Ted Lasso ice cream called "Biscuits with the Boss"on March 2. The new season of Ted Lasso is scheduled to return to Apple TV+ on March 15.
