Major Power Outage Strikes Ballston
Arlington County police are responding to help with traffic control after a significant power outage in Ballston Monday morning.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A major power outage is causing problems in Ballston Monday morning.
Arlington County Police tweeted shortly after 9 a.m. that a "large power outage" has been reported in Ballston, and police are responding to the area to assist with traffic control.
A tweet from Arlington Public Library indicated that Dominion Power should be able to restore power sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Central Library would be closed until that happens.
