Man With Firearm Steals Lighter From Victim In Arlington Mill: ACPD
Police are trying to locate a man they say stole a lighter from another man in the Arlington Mill area on Wednesday night.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public’s help in locating a man with a firearm they say stole the victim’s lighter Wednesday evening in the Arlington Mill area.
Officers responded around 6:02 p.m. for the report of an armed robbery on S. Four Mile Run Drive at Columbia Pike. The victim told police that a man came up to him and asked to borrow a lighter. When the victim complied, the man walked away without returning the lighter, according to police.
When the victim confronted the suspect, the man lifted his shirt to expose what appeared to be a firearm and then fled the scene on foot, according to police. After searching the area, the officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Police described the suspect as an Hispanic man, about 18-25 years of age, was 5-foot-10 in height. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black head covering.
