Man Hospitalized After Early Morning Shooting In Clarendon
Arlington County police are investigating a shooting in Clarendon early Sunday morning that sent a man to the hospital.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are investigating a shooting in Clarendon early Sunday morning that sent a man to the hospital.
Shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday, police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Wilson Boulevard for a report of gunshots. When they arrived at the scene, police found a man in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was then taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries considering non-life threatening, police said.

In their investigation, the police determined that the victim and suspect got into an argument. The suspect followed the victim to the parking lot and then shot the man, police said.
The suspect is described as a Black male, about 5-feet, 5-inches to 5-feet, 8-inches tall and about 150 to 180 pounds, according to police. The suspect was wearing a black leather jacket and black jeans. He fled the scene on a motorcycle after the shooting, police said.
