Here are the top three stories today in Arlington:
- On Thursday, Mar. 2, a 22-year-old suspect robbed NOVA Armory on Wilson Boulevard here in Arlington before fleeing on a Metrobus. The suspect stole a gun and ammunition before trying to punch an employee before he left the gun store. On the corner of Wilson and Danville, police managed to pull over the Metrobus and arrest the suspect. (Fox News)
- Amazon announced its plan to indefinitely postpone the construction of PenPlace, a 2.8-million-sq-ft headquarters in Arlington. The new headquarters and campus called Metropolitan Park would have provided about 25,000 local technology and corporate jobs. (Subscription: ENR)
