Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Arlington Hotel Shooting: Police

A man was taken to the hospital early Wednesday morning after being shot in a hotel parking garage in the Courthouse area, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning shooting at a hotel in the Courthouse area of Arlington, where a man suffered serious injuries.

The shooting was reported just before 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of N. Courthouse Road, police said. The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to a nearby hospital, according to police.

The man was shot while in the parking garage of the Hilton Garden Inn, a block from Arlington County police headquarters, ARLnow reported Wednesday. The shooting may have been the result of a robbery, ARLnow said, citing initial reports.
