Man Wanted For Assault, Making Threats In Arlington View: ACPD
Arlington County Police are looking for a suspect in an early-morning assault and robbery in Arlington View on Wednesday, reports say.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are looking for a man they say threatened and assaulted a another man early Wednesday morning in the Arlington View area.
Officers responded around 1:38 a.m. to the 1600 block of 12th Street South for the report of a robbery by force, according to police.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect drove up to a parked vehicle where the male victim was sitting, began making threats and then took a personal item out of the victim's hands, police say.

"The victim then exited his vehicle and was running away from the scene when the suspect chased the victim, began to assault him and attempted to steal the victim’s phone," according to the incident report. "When unsuccessful, the suspect fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated by medics at the scene."
The officers searched the area but failed to locate the suspect. Police described the suspect as a Black man with short hair, who stood approximately 6-feet tall and weighed about 185 pounds. He was dressed in black., according to police.
