Massive Water Main Break In Crystal City Fixed

ARLINGTON, VA -- Water has been restored after a large water main break on Crystal Drive in Crystal City on Wednesday.

The Arlington Department of Environmental Services reported that water had been restored at 2:15 p.m. to "most of the affected buildings in Crystal City, although 2600 Crystal Dr continues to experience low pressure."

Arlington County reported that the water main break was at 23rd Street S and Crystal Drive, and emergency water main repairs were underway soon after it was discovered.

"The service outage is throughout the Crystal City area," the county said in an alert. "Several hundred customers are affected."
