Narcotics, Weapons Charges Filed Against Arlington Man: Police
Arlington County Police arrested a 25-year-old man who had an outstanding warrant for eluding in the Arlington View area on Saturday.
ARLINGTON, VA — A 25-year-old Arlington man is facing multiple drug and weapons charges after police searched his vehicle Saturday morning in the Arlington View area.
Arlington County Police took Jahmil Copeland, who was a wanted suspect, into custody around 8:49 a.m. on 13th Street S. at S. Scott Street, according to the incident report.
Prior to towing Copeland’s vehicle, officers searched the vehicle and found a firearm with an altered serial number and a distribution amount of marijuana, according to police.

Copeland was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics and altering the serial number of a firearm, according to police. In addition, he was served with an outstanding warrant for eluding and was held without bond.
