New Restaurant 'Wilson Hardware' Opens In Arlington Friday
Wilson Hardware, a new restaurant serving contemporary American fare with a creative cocktail menu, will open Friday in Clarendon.
ARLINGTON, VA — A new restaurant serving contemporary American fare alongside a creative cocktail menu called Wilson Hardware will open Friday, September 9 in Clarendon.
The 7,000-square foot bar and lounge includes a chicly designed patio and rooftop and three distinct bar areas. Patrons can expect a trendy atmosphere with stylish touches such as custom metal chandeliers, liquid metal mirrors and a candle wall.
The rooftop will feature high tables and two large flat-screen televisions, greenery hanging from the trellis-like covering and a 17-foot long bar.

“Clarendon has definitely been overdue for a place like Wilson Hardware, so we’re thrilled to be in the neighborhood,” co-owner Jad Bouchebel said in a statement. “We know how important the history of this landmark is and look forward to welcoming new faces to our restaurant.”

Patrons can expect innovative bar bites like Hardware fritters, crab dip and panzerotti—crisp-fried pizza dough stuffed with cheeses and marinara sauce. Other menu staples include grass-fed beef, avocado burger, duck confit, steak frites and pan-seared salmon.
Wilson Hardware is named as an homage to Virginia Hardware, the hardware shop that occupied the storefront location on Wilson from the early 1960s until 2005, according to a press release.
