New Sushi Restaurant Opens In Arlington

Yume Sushi opened Monday and will have a grand opening in mid-January.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Arlington has a new sushi restaurant starting Monday, and a grand opening is set for next month.

Yume Sushi had a "soft opening" on Monday in the East Falls Church area at 2121 North Westmoreland Street, according to a statement.

A grand opening is scheduled for mid-January, the restaurant said in a statement.

Yume seats 96 in the kitchen and bar, and will be open for lunch and dinner. It will also offer more than 100 different types of sake.

"Each dining experience is uniquely tailored to Chef Saran’s recommendations, leaving no two instances to ever be alike," the statement reads. "At Yume Sushi, relish in an integral part of Japanese culinary sphere as you are ushered into an intimate space and seated before our chefs, as they walk you through every part of your meal as it is prepared before you. Two 2-hour offerings of Omakase-style dining will be available each night, with a maximum capacity of eight diners per seating - one at 6 p.m. and one at 8 p.m. Reservations are required."
