Owl Rescued From Arlington Middle School (Video)
An owl that was trapped in an Arlington middle school's boiler room was rescued this week.
ARLINGTON, VA -- A barred owl that had become trapped in the boiler room of an Arlington middle school was successfully rescued and released back into the wild on Monday.
The Animal Welfare League of Arlington posted pictures Monday morning of the owl, adding that they "got a call from a local middle school that an owl was trapped in their boiler room."
Two AWLA officers responded and were able to safely remove the owl and release him into the woods near the school.
