Police Investigate Shooting Near Central Library In Virginia Square
A driver fired shots at another vehicle near Arlington Central Library Tuesday night and then fled the scene in his vehicle, police said.
ARLINGTON, VA — A driver fired shots at another vehicle near Arlington Central Library Tuesday night and then fled the scene in his vehicle before police arrived, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
At about 8 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1000 block of N. Quincy Street in the Virginia Square neighborhood. Police learned that the drivers of two vehicles had gotten into an argument.
The male suspect in the shooting got out of his vehicle and fired his gun, striking the other vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Police said they searched the area for the suspect but could not find him. The suspect is described as a tall, Black male with dreadlocks.
