UPDATE: Power Restored to Nearly 3,300 in Arlington Wednesday

Power was out for about two hours Wednesday for nearly 3,300 homes and businesses in two Arlington neighborhoods.

ARLINGTON, VA -- (UPDATE 5:40 p.m.) Power was restored Wednesday to nearly 3,300 homes and businesses in Arlington's Shirlington and Nauck neighborhoods, according to a Dominion Power outage map. The map showed 3,297 homes without power as of 5 p.m. Wednesday.

A business owner in Shirlington Village, which was completely dark, reported power went out at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Dominion reported that a circuit was out.

The estimated time of restoration for Shirlington, where 2,476 were without power, according to Dominion, was between 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday. Restoration in Nauck, where 821 were without power, was between 6-11 p.m. A Dominion map below shows the two areas that were without power at 5 p.m.:
