Power Outages Reported After Car Crash Takes Down Wires

Some Arlington residents are without power after a car crash brought down wires in the Old Glebe neighborhood.

ARLINGTON, VA — Some Arlington residents are without power Tuesday after a car crash brought down wires in the Old Glebe neighborhood.

The car struck a pole at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of N. Glebe Rd. The road is currently closed in both directions and is expected to remain that way for an "extended time," Arlington County Fire Department officials said.

No injuries were reported in the crash. The power company is currently on the scene working to restore power, officials said.
