Presidents Day 2018: What's Open, Closed In Arlington
A handful of services in Arlington will take a long weekend to celebrate Presidents Day.

ARLINGTON, VA — Presidents Day 2018 is just days away. While it's business as usual for some, there are many services and businesses that are closed for the day.
The day is typically considered a celebration of not just George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, who were born in February, but of all U.S. Presidents.
Here is a look at what will be open on Presidents Day, and what will be closed:

- Arlington County Government Offices & Facilities: Closed
- Trash & Recycling: Normal Collection Schedule
- Metered Parking: Not Enforced
- Courts: Closed
- Libraries: Closed
Trash and recycling pickups will operate on a normal schedule for Monday customers.
