ARLINGTON, VA — A pair of right-wing hoaxers have been staging a series of press conferences in a Rosslyn neighborhood making outlandish accusations against prominent Trump critics and others, and the constant circus is not sitting well with locals, according to a report.

Arlington Now reports that the police were called to the 1500 block of N. Colonial Terrace for a noise complaint due to the most recent incident, another press conference staged by Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl. They were joined by Milo Yiannopoulos, a far-right activist who used to be influential before he was kicked off of social media sites.

The scene was overwhelmed by airhorns, a banjo, shouting, and someone hurling donuts, according to video posted on social media (embedded below).

In this case, Wohl and Burkman targeted a Trump ally, Sen. Ted Cruz, accusing him of being a "swinger." In the past, they've held press conferences going after Trump opponents, including claiming that Sen. Elizabeth Warren was a "cougar" and that Robert Mueller engaged in sexual misconduct.

The press conferences typically attract a smattering of press and bemused onlookers, but this latest event brought in protesters who started to become loud.

Video posted on social media shows that press conference being interrupted by airhorns and a banjo. At one point, a protester started throwing donuts at the group.

Wohl and Burkman have been holding their press conferences outside of a townhouse lately, although for the Mueller accusation they used the Holiday Inn in Rosslyn.

Arlington Now quoted a spokesperson as saying that police are aware of community concerns about this and similar events at this location, but police did not indicate what -- if anything -- they were able to do about it.
